I bought this item so my 25lb Bernese puppy would not have to crane his neck to get to the food in his bowl.
When the item arrived, it was carefully packaged and the quality of the bowls/design was very nice.
However, the stand is too flimsy for the bowls. Also, the grates on the front/back can be a hazard to puppies.
On two consecutive occasions, our puppy got his collar tags caught in the stand.
When he pulled his head up, the whole stand moved with him, overturning the bowls and scaring the hell out of him.
He is now traumatized by feeding bowls :(
This product is probably OK for very small dogs (chihuahuas, yorkies, etc).
The bowls are pretty small for a medium dog, especially dogs with larger snouts; and even though the stand is 4 inches tall, the bottom of the bowls lie lower, only about 2inches above the ground.

I got this bowl set for my 14 week old Yorkie.. it was bigger than I was expecting but im sure he will grow into it. It good quality and I've had no problems with it.
