LOVE IT!, August 28, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Jolly Pets Road Refresher Non-Spill Water Bowl, 54 Ounces (Misc.) I have a slurp-y, sloppy drinking dog that leaves a puddle on my kitchen floor after drinking from his bowl. I read the reviews here and decided to buy even though the bowl is designed for travel in an automobile or RV. I AM SO HAPPY! I have had no water out of the bowl and onto the floor. I was a little concerned that my dog would not want to put his nose through the bowl, but he did not hesitate. The design makes it easy to take apart for cleaning. The cutout handles make it very easy to carry back and forth from the faucet. Because the bowl is designed for a traveling vehicle, it does have Velcro strips on the bottom of it. If you are like me and don't want to stick the opposing Velcro strip to your floor, you can rest the bowl on a small mat and it is stable.

If you have a dog that makes any kind of mess when drinking water, BUY THIS NOW! Two dogs were making a constant mess and large puddle on my oak flooring. This bowl is amazing...no more mess! I am absolutely delighted with it. It was well worth the price and I am very glad I bought it and not a copy-cat.

I have bought several of the original Buddy Bowl but the original one is difficult to get apart to clean and starts leaking after you've opened it several times. So, I decided to try this brand. Unfortunately, it DOES spill if you turn it upside down (the original one does not). The likelihood that it will be upside down is slight but, when it does fall off the seat and turn upside down, you will wish you had the original one. Plus, this has a disc "thing" in the middle that keeps the water level down. The original one is cone shaped. My dog doesn't seem to want to drink out of this bowl as he would the original one. I do like the plastic it is made out of much better than the original buddy bowl's plastic. The product is OK. If I were to buy another one, I would buy the Original Buddy Bowl.
