Very nice pet dish, September 27, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Petrageous Designs Buddy's Best Pet Feeder, Taupe (Misc.) We have a terrier, and these cleverly designed and well-made bowls do two things. They get the food and water up off the floor which seems to keep her from creating nearly as much of a mess around her eating area, and they are easy to clean. In addition, they have a heft and a non-slip coating on the rack that keeps her from nosing them around on her feeding mat. The color and glaze of the finish is highly polished and fairly attractive and unobtrusive (in the case of the taupe). They are probably not large enough for a dog over 50-60 pounds (depending on how many times you feed a day), but are just right for any dog over 12 pounds up to that weight. I can't imagine why they wouldn't be suitable for cats either. In summary, if you want to feed your small to medium sized dog indoors (we feed ours in the kitchen), these look good enough to not be off-putting to guests and hold both water and food, and are quite likely to cut down on the mess your pet makes.

I love these raised dishes. I use them with my elderly cat who has arthritis. The dishes make eating much easier for him. The dishes are a good size. This product is a great value. It's easy to clean. The stand is simple and doesn't get in the way. Designed well.

We were looking for an attractive and sturdy food and water dish for our Australian Shepherd. While this set is certainly attractive and study, it's not large enough. It would be much better suited to a 25 Lbs or under dog.
