We purchased this for a new puppy we recently adopted. The plastic seems to be sturdy, even with the constant running into walls and table legs it goes through with the puppy pushing it around. The bowls are made of metal and seem pretty durable. All in all, this was a great purchase at an unbeatable price. I love that these are connected and are sturdy, as she does move the bowls around the room when she eats/drinks and hasn't broke down. Very durable and perfect for my pup. They do not have any problems eating from the bowl. Also it is not too big so it fits perfectly in the kitchen where their bowls used to sit.
